NAHS Overview

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is sponsored by the National Art Education Association to recognize excellence and achievement in the visual arts. Membership is based on art department faculty nomination. In order to be considered, students must maintain a 3.0 GPA in all art courses, have a good conduct record, and regularly attend NAHS meetings and activities. The NAHS strives to aid members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community. Participation in NAHS provides the opportunity for students to win scholarships, earn recognition, and connect with more than 21,000 outstanding art students nationwide.
