Get to Know CCHS Staffulty Member - Nathan Bell

- What subjects and grade levels do you teach?
I teach Algebra 2 to juniors and seniors.

- What is your educational background?
I graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in 2021 and I graduated college in 2025 with a bachelor's degree, majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology.

- What did you do before joining the CCHS staffulty?
I previously worked at a domestic violence shelter as a shelter advocate.  I made sure everyone's needs were met, made sure the shelter was welcoming to all, and whenever someone needed a shoulder to lean on I was there.

- What inspired you to become a teacher?
I was inspired to teach by both of my parents who were teachers.  I originally planned to work in a clinical/therapeutic setting, but after all of the public speaking and presentations I did for work and class, I found a passion for educating.

- What made you want to teach at Central Catholic specifically?
I wanted to teach at Central Catholic because of the religious setting and atmosphere.

- What do you hope your impact will be on your students?
I hope I can give students a feeling of confidence and intelligence that will leave my classroom and follow them in their extracurricular pursuits.

- What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I’m an avid reader and film buff.
