The Irish golf tradition began nearly 90 years ago with a State Championship in 1930. Irish golf is designed around the belief that there is no substitute for hard work and preparation. The program prides itself on off-season training and development. We believe playing against the highest competition in the biggest events best prepares our players for the potential to play college golf.
Since then, a strong emphasis has been placed on golf swing fundamentals including body and club position assisted through the use of video technology. In 2013 the Irish placed third in the TRAC Championship as well as advanced to districts in the state tournament.
