Head of School Message

Dear Irish Community,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year. I am honored to lead Central Catholic High School as the Head of School. Serving our students at Central Catholic as they move toward a life of Charity, Courage, Honesty, and Sanctity is an amazing opportunity, and a job I take seriously. I have over a decade of experience in Catholic education, and I look forward to sharing my expertise in faith formation, academic and extracurricular activities that will benefit the mission and vision of Central Catholic.

In my first month at Central Catholic, I have had the opportunity to meet with the dedicated faculty and staff who help make up our strong school community. I am eager to meet you, our parents, many of whom are proud Central Catholic alumni, as well as our students.

I am not the only new face your child will be seeing in the hallway. We recently hired new staff, who, I am confident, will have a positive impact on your students education.

  • Karri Adler – Mathematics
  • Vicky Ferris – Spanish

  • David Kendrick – Latin
  • Kevin Kraus – Band Director
  • Logan Lorenzen – Social Studies
  • Angela Mills – English

I earned two bachelor degrees, in education and arts and sciences, from the University of Toledo and a Masters of Education from Lourdes University. Born and raised in Maumee, I am married to my wife Julie, a CCHS alumna, and we have three children. We are parishioners of St. John XXIII in Perrysburg and involved with the Toledo area YES Project.

It is truly an honor to be part of a school community with such a rich history and tradition of Catholic education. I look forward to a successful school year!

Go Irish!
