HS Spanish Teacher

Central Catholic High School in Toledo, with over 100 years of graduates, forms young men and women into disciples of Jesus Christ. We are seeking a Spanish teacher for the 2026–27 school year, with a primary focus on Spanish I.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering engaging instruction in Spanish language courses
• Differentiating instruction and using data to meet diverse student learning needs
• Developing students' vocabulary, grammar, conversational skills, and language proficiency
• Incorporating Hispanic cultures, traditions, and customs to foster cultural awareness and appreciation
• Creating opportunities for students to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish
• Encouraging student confidence and communication through interactive and real-world language experiences
• Collaborating with colleagues on department and school-wide initiatives
• Maintaining clear, positive communication with students, families, and administration

Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Spanish, World Languages, Education, or a related field; an Ohio teaching license is preferred. All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Central Catholic High School.
