TOLEDO, OH - The Central Catholic boys’ golf team turned in a strong performance at the Toledo Area Athletic Conference (TAAC) Championship on Monday at Stone Ridge Golf Club, finishing runner-up in the four-team field.

Leading the way for the Fighting Irish was senior Logan Briggs, who placed second overall among 23 golfers.  Briggs narrowly missed medalist honors, finishing just one stroke behind the individual champion.

Sophomore Ben Francis also delivered an impressive performance, placing sixth overall.  Junior Jack Kuebler tied for 10th, followed by junior Brady Pike in 15th, sophomore Stevie Fisher in 18th, and senior Austin Gent in 19th.

Following the championship, four Fighting Irish golfers earned All-TAAC recognition for their performances this fall.  Briggs and Francis were named First-Team All-TAAC, while Kuebler earned Second-Team All-TAAC honors and Pike received Honorable Mention All-TAAC recognition.
