Girls’ Basketball Picks Up 51–46 Road Win at Delta

The Central Catholic girls’ basketball team earned a hard-fought 51–46 victory at Delta on Saturday afternoon, picking up an important non-conference road win in the Delta Main Gym. With the win, the Fighting Irish move to 9–6 on the season.

Central Catholic received balanced production throughout the lineup, led by senior G Nina Stevens, who scored a game-high 15 points. Senior G Serinity Bolden followed with 14 points, while sophomore F Kalyse Mays added 12 points to help the Fighting Irish pull away down the stretch.

Delta was paced by Keagyn Gillen, who finished with 11 points for the Panthers.

Earlier in the day, the Central Catholic junior varsity team dropped a 40–24 decision on the road.

The Fighting Irish return to action on Monday, January 26, when they host Father Gabriel Richard in a Catholic High School League matchup in the Sullivan Center. The junior varsity game tips off at 5 p.m., followed immediately by the varsity contest. Central Catholic will look to avenge a 33–26 loss to the Irish earlier this season in Ann Arbor. Monday’s varsity game will air LIVE on 100.7 FM (The Ticket) beginning at 6:15 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by clicking HERE.
