Girls’ Hoops Drops Non-Conference Battle at Ottawa-Glandorf, 61-47

The Central Catholic girls’ basketball team fell 61–47 to Ottawa-Glandorf on Saturday in non-conference play at OGHS Gymnasium. With the setback, the Fighting Irish move to 1–2 early in the season as they continue building momentum.

Senior Nina Stevens turned in a standout performance, recording a season-high 21 points, including three made 3-pointers to lead all players from beyond the arc. Senior captain Serinity Bolden added 11 points, providing strong leadership on both ends of the floor.

Ottawa-Glandorf was paced by Karsyn Erford with 26 points, while Allison Kuhlman and Madison McKee added 9 points apiece.

Earlier in the afternoon, the Central Catholic junior varsity team dropped a road matchup against the Titans, 62-17.

The Fighting Irish return home on Saturday, December 13, for a CHSL matchup vs. Bowsher, beginning with the junior varsity contest at 1 p.m. in the Sullivan Center followed by varsity action. Tickets for Saturday’s game can be purchased by clicking HERE.
