Jack Cowell Named Student of the Month for May

Jack Cowell is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.  He also plays tennis for the Fighting Irish.  “I chose to attend Central Catholic because my 5 older siblings have gone here and have had positive experiences from it,” he explained.  “The best thing about being here, in my opinion, would be the interesting electives to choose from, such as Chinese Language & Culture.  I'm surprised with how much content I've learned in that class.”

According to Ms. Paulita Fernandez, the Chinese Language & Culture teacher who nominated Jack as Student of the Month, he is a person of integrity with an outstanding work ethic and performance.  “Jack is kind and loving to everyone, is willing to help others, and always has a positive attitude,” she said. 

After high school, Jack would like to attend either the University of Toledo or Bowling Green State University.  He is not sure what he wants to study, but he has always enjoyed math, geography, and learning about the natural world.
