HS English Teacher

Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio, with over 100 years of graduates, forms young men and women into disciples of Jesus Christ. We are seeking an English teacher for the 2026–27 school year.

Responsibilities include:

● Designing and delivering engaging instruction across English courses

● Differentiating instruction and using data to meet diverse student learning needs

● Facilitating discussion and analysis of literature and texts to build critical thinking

● Supporting student writing across multiple modes (analytical, narrative, and argumentative)

● Providing meaningful feedback and guiding students through the writing process, including drafting, revision, and conferencing

● Collaborating with colleagues, including Intervention Services, on department and school-wide initiatives

● Maintaining clear, positive communication with students, families, and administration

Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree; an Ohio teaching license in English is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Central Catholic High School.
