HS Social Studies Teacher

Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio, with over 100 years of graduates, forms young men and women into disciples of Jesus Christ. We are seeking a Social Studies teacher for the 2026–27 school year. 

Responsibilities include: 

● Designing and delivering engaging instruction across Social Studies courses, including American History 

● Differentiating instruction and using data to meet diverse student learning needs 

● Facilitating thoughtful discussion and analysis of historical and current issues 

● Supporting student writing, critical thinking, and argumentation skills 

● Collaborating with colleagues, including Intervention Services, on department and school-wide initiatives 

● Connecting elective coursework to real-world applications, current events, and civic engagement 

● Maintaining clear, positive communication with students, families, and administration 

Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree; an Ohio teaching license in Social Studies is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Central Catholic High School.
