Central Catholic Open House & Shadowing Opportunities
Central Catholic High School’s annual Open House is Sunday, November 9 from noon to 3 p.m. Families and students are invited to tour the school; visit classrooms; meet teachers, coaches, and administrators; explore our academic, spiritual, athletic, and extra-curricular programs; enjoy vocal, musical, and dance performances; and learn about scholarships and financial aid options.
Families who are planning to attend Open House are encouraged to register HERE to help us prepare for your visit. Click on the Open House listing on November 9 to register.
“We’re proud of the growth Central Catholic has experienced over the past several years, which we believe reflects our deep connection to the community we serve,” said Co-Directors of Enrollment, Brittley Grodi and Erica Tyburski. “We value the opportunity to share what makes CCHS special. We take pride in our tradition of rigorous academics, strong faith formation, dedicated student involvement, and meaningful community partnerships. We’re excited to welcome new families to our campus and invite them to experience the spirit of Central Catholic firsthand!”
“Our Open House is a wonderful opportunity for families to truly experience what makes Central Catholic special,” added Andrea Biederman, Assistant Principal for Academics. “We open our doors and invite everyone to explore, whether you want to talk with teachers, meet our counselors or intervention team, connect with coaches, or simply take a guided tour of our campus.
“At Central Catholic, we strive to be a community of disciples rooted in the Gospel, seeking knowledge, and transforming the world. Open House gives families a glimpse into how we live that out each day - through our classrooms, our relationships, and our shared faith. While Discovery Days and shadow visits focus on students, this event welcomes the entire family. You can move at your own pace, meet those who will walk beside your child in faith and learning, and see what it means to belong to a community grounded in Catholic tradition. We welcome all families with students in grades 5–8 to join us on Sunday, November 9, and experience the heart of Central Catholic High School.”
Central Catholic also invites 7th and 8th graders to experience a day in the life of a Central Catholic student through our Irish for a Day shadowing program. Interact with current students and teachers on a typical school day, tour our historic building on Cherry Street, and experience what it’s like to be a part of the Irish family!
The Irish for a Day program takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. To sign up, please visit CentralCatholic.org/Admissions and click on the IRISH FOR A DAY graphic.
CCHS is located at 2550 Cherry Street in Toledo. Please call 419-255-2280 or email admissions@centralcatholic.org for more information. We’re looking forward to welcoming potential students and families to discover why Central Catholic is the best choice for you!
