Central Catholic Open House & Shadowing Opportunities

Central Catholic High School’s annual Open House is Sunday, November 15 from noon to 3 p.m.  Families and students are invited to tour the school; visit classrooms; meet staffulty, coaches, and administrators; explore our academic, spiritual, athletic, and extra-curricular programs; enjoy vocal, musical, and dance performances; and learn about scholarships and financial aid options.

Families who are planning to attend Open House are encouraged to register at CentralCatholic.org/Admissions to help us prepare for your visit.  Click on the Open House button to register.

Open House is an opportunity to truly experience what makes Central Catholic special.  While Discovery Days and shadow visits focus on students, this event welcomes the entire family.  You can move at your own pace, and families can meet those who will walk beside your child in faith and learning.

“Come visit Central Catholic at our Open House!” said Brittley (Grodi) Dauer ’07, Director of Enrollment.  “Tour our school, meet our teachers, explore exciting classes and activities, connect with our coaches, and discover all that Central Catholic has to offer.  It’s the perfect opportunity to ask questions, meet our community, and get a firsthand look at what makes the Central Catholic experience so special.  We can’t wait to welcome you!”

“At Open House, families have the opportunity to experience the breadth of what CCHS has to offer, from choir, piano, band, and orchestra, to athletics, clubs, service, and countless other opportunities for involvement,” added Rebecca (Barrow) Buckman ’04, Director of Vocal Music.  “Students are encouraged to pursue their individual interests while becoming part of a larger community.  Open House allows prospective students and their families to experience that sense of purpose, community, and opportunity in person and envision the many ways a CCHS education can help them grow and succeed.”

“The world is so wrapped up in one giant misconception of who God is and who Central Catholic is,” said Fr. Kevin Moebius ’99, CCHS Priest Leader.  “But those of us who have walked these halls, and those of us who still walk them, know differently.  Now it’s your turn.  Come to our Open House, where God and Central Catholic exist together.  I guarantee you... you won’t leave here the same.”

Central Catholic also invites 7th and 8th graders to experience a day in the life of a Central Catholic student through our Irish for a Day shadowing program, which begins Friday, October 2.  Interact with current students and teachers on a typical school day, tour our historic building on Cherry Street, and experience what it’s like to be a part of the Irish family!

The Irish for a Day program takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  To sign up, please visit CentralCatholic.org/Admissions and click on the IRISH FOR A DAY graphic.

Central Catholic High School is located at 2550 Cherry Street in Toledo.  Please call (419) 255-2280 or email admissions@centralcatholic.org for more information.  We’re looking forward to welcoming potential students and families to discover why Central Catholic is the best choice for you!
