Central Catholic will Celebrate Grandparents on October 28

TOLEDO, OH - Central Catholic will celebrate Grandparents Day on Wednesday, October 28 beginning with Mass in the Sullivan Center at 8 a.m. Mass will be followed by a continental breakfast for the students with their grandparents.  The festivities conclude by 9:45 a.m.

Central Catholic created this yearly tradition to celebrate grandparents and to honor and appreciate the important role they play in our families and communities.  It's a time to show appreciation for their love, wisdom, and the unique bond they share with their grandchildren.  The day also highlights the value of intergenerational connections and encourages families to spend quality time together. 

“Grandparents hold such a special place in our families and in the faith lives of our students,” said Priest Leader Fr. Kevin Moebius ’99 and Campus Minister Erica (Staccone) Tyburski ’04.  “We are especially grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the grandparents who have helped pass on their faith, values, and traditions.  What a great example for our students to witness and model!”

A registration link and more details will come in early October but mark your calendar now.  Invite your grandparents to join us for this special event!

Students who do not have grandparents joining them for Mass and breakfast will be on a two-hour delay that day.  Classes will begin for everyone at 10 a.m.
