- What is your role now at Central Catholic?
My current role at CCHS is a full-time graphic designer, yearbook teacher, and assistant girls’ tennis coach.
- What were you involved in as a student at CCHS?
I was in the National Honor Society and heavily involved in athletics. I played tennis and basketball, and I ran track my freshman year. I was blessed to be on a tennis team with an amazing group of girls, reaching the state team championships three out of my four years. One of my favorite memories was placing second in the state team championships my sophomore year! I also reached the individual state championships all four years, once in doubles and three times in singles, placing in the top eight my senior year!
- Where did you attend college and what degree did you earn?
I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
- How does it feel to be back working and teaching at Central Catholic?
I feel right at home at Central Catholic. I loved my experience here as a student-athlete, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to give back to such a special place. Being a graduate gives me a firsthand understanding of the traditions, community, faith, and experiences at Central Catholic, as I was once in the students’ shoes.
- What do you hope to accomplish in your role at CCHS?
I hope to help students develop their creative skills, find meaningful ways to use their talents, and grow as individuals. I also hope to contribute to the same strong sense of community, tradition, faith, and pride that made such an impact on me as a student.
- Do you have other family members who attended Central Catholic?
My younger brother, Justin, attended Central Catholic in 2020 and 2021.
- What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, working out, playing sports, and spending time outdoors.
