Women’s History Month Q&A with Ramya Jones, ‘23

Ramya Jones (Class of 2023) is a sophomore at Central Catholic. Ramya is on the honor roll and is a member of the CCHS Spiritual Commission.

What advice would you give to women in your respective field?
The advice I would give to other female students is no dream is too small. I would tell them to reach for the stars, keep in mind your goals, and take the initiative to start pursuing your education and biggest dreams.

Tell us about a woman you look up to & why.
The woman I look up to is my mom. She inspires and motivates me to grow without walls. She has taught me that you're never too old to follow your dreams and build on them.

What does Women’s History Month mean to you?
Women's History Month is a time to remember and honor the women who have fought for women's rights and remember the women who paved the way for me today. At the same time, you don’t want to forget the fact that work still needs to be done for women all over the world.

What do you love about Central Catholic High School?
I love that here at Central Catholic we are a big family. We have a community of respect and love for everyone no matter the background. I have met the best people here at Central Catholic, and I have made friends that will last a lifetime.
