Blake Moody Chosen Student of the Month for November

Senior Blake Moody is a member of the National Honor Society, an Irish Ambassador, and the kicker for the Fighting Irish varsity football team.  He is a parishioner at Most Blessed Sacrament.  Blake is the third of five Moody siblings to attend Central Catholic, including Madison (Class of 2021), Chris (Class of 2023), current junior Max, and current freshman Demi.

“I chose to come to Central Catholic because the faith and school spirit are unmatched,” Blake said.  “I always feel the presence of God in our community, and we always let everyone know what it means to be Irish!  I also came because of the people.  The CCHS community never fails to put a smile on your face and allows you to grow through experiences like no other!”

“Blake adds so much to our class,” said Patrice Brock, his AP Environmental Science teacher.  “He is curious and driven, asking great questions and helping to maintain a positive energy in the room.  Blake works hard every day, and it shows in the quality of his work.”

“Blake is an excellent student,” agreed alumna Hannah Bluhm (Class of 2017), his Psychology teacher.  “He is up for any challenge, big or small.  Blake comes prepared to work hard and learn, while also being able to crack up the whole room with laughter.  He has been so great to have in class this semester.”

After graduation, Blake will be attending the University of Toledo to study business management.  He hopes to be a football coach in the future.
