Boys’ Basketball Starts Strong, Earns 63–51 Win Over Pickerington Central
The Central Catholic boys’ basketball team continued its impressive run Sunday afternoon, earning a 63–51 victory over Pickerington Central at the Shot Clock Battle in the 614 on the campus of Ohio Dominican University. With the non-conference win, the Fighting Irish improve to 9-2 on the season.
Central Catholic set the tone early, coming out with pace and purpose to build a 25–18 halftime advantage, controlling the tempo of the neutral-site matchup from the opening tip.
Junior guard Cayden Kynard led a balanced Irish attack with a game-high 16 points, while Jordan Langford chipped in 10 points. The Scarlet & Gray also received key contributions from Manny Johnson (9 points), Kingston Sito (8), Kaeden Carruthers (8), and Jason Lawson Jr. (8), showcasing depth and balance across the lineup.
