Central Catholic Falls to Regina, 66–32, in Regular-Season Finale
The Central Catholic girls’ basketball team dropped a 66–32 decision to Regina on Thursday in its regular-season finale at the Sullivan Center. With the loss, the Fighting Irish move to 13–8 on the season.
The Lady Saddlelites were red-hot from beyond the arc, knocking down 13 three-point field goals. Sam Thomas led Regina (12–5) with six triples and a game-high 26 points, while teammate Emerson Holder added four threes and finished with 18 points.
Senior guard Marissa Justen paced Central Catholic with 14 points. The 2025–26 CHSL All-League honoree did most of her scoring from long range, connecting on four three-pointers.
Earlier in the evening, the CCHS junior varsity team secured a 33–19 victory over the Lady Saddlelites.
