Girls’ Basketball Rolls Past Bowsher in Non-League Matchup, 51–25
The Central Catholic girls’ basketball team earned a decisive 51–25 victory over Bowsher on Saturday afternoon in the Sullivan Center. With the non-league win, the Fighting Irish improve to 2–3 on the season.
Central Catholic’s defense set the tone from the opening tip, holding the Blue Racers to fewer than 10 points in every quarter and controlling the pace throughout the contest.
Junior G Madison Stricker led all scorers with 16 points, while senior G Sereinity Bolden added 12 to help power the Irish offense. Bowsher’s Aliyah Osei finished with 11 points to lead the Blue Racers.
Central Catholic returns to action on Wednesday, December 17, traveling to Start for a 6:30 p.m. non-league matchup.
